Focusing on You
1 — Body, Mind, and Soul
As you spend time trying to make a body, mind and soul connection with another, remember to make time to come back to you and focus on elevating you — the elevated “I.” Pay attention to everything you do to yourself, and make it into an event.
2 — Connection to Nature
Do what you can when you can to bring more physical activity back into your life — get some fresh air. Before you begin a heavy fitness program please check with a medical practitioner for a general check-up to make sure you are in good health.
3 — Water, Water, Everday
It is good to keep your hydrated, so try to drink plenty of water. About 90% of the body is made up of water, and in order for you to be physically healthy, you should typically drink eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day, (that’s about 2 liters).
4 — Love Your Skin
If you find it hard to appreciate your physical body, try to start by loving your skin. The skin is the largest organ of the body. Nurture your skin. Remember to make caring for your skin a ritual. Most people tend to focus on their face. It is usually the part of the body that is exposed, and the first part of the body most people notice. Pay the same attention to your entire body. Make a ritual of paying attention to and nurturing every part of your body, your chest, stomach, hands feet, legs, arms and torso.
